Both the law and regulations are posted on the MCDH web site are relatively straight forward. While we think patients or caregivers can read and interpret them we’re also sure that people who desire to do something and make as legally permissible would best seek an attorney’s advice before jumping into anything with the risks associated with growing and using medical marijuana.
The best course we think is consultation with your personal attorney or the attorneys who’ve joined a2m2pc and have offered to meet with prospective physicians, patients and caregivers to discuss your situation and/or plans and assist in designing a plan to assure you of your individual compliance with the law. Members can contact any of the attorneys on the website and make an appointment to review their specific situation with a lawyer. To assure you that you’re protected by the attorney client privilege your attorney should charge a modest fee, as would our attorneys.
Check the website for a list of the attorneys who’re available to meet with you.
